Bloomberg has released a new analytics hosting service for algorithmic orders on FXGO, its global FX electronic trading solution. Goldman Sachs is the first provider to use the new integration tool kit to offer its algorithmic order analytics service. According to the platform provider, this new technology integrates Bloomberg’s FX execution and straight through processing tools with Goldman Sachs’ pre-trade, in-flight and post-trade analytics. As such it will be able to offer Goldman Sachs clients using the Bloomberg terminal a unique set of insights into their algorithmic order execution. The new algorithmic order service is available on FXGO’s execution manager, a Bloomberg Launchpad function that allows clients to manage their incoming orders and subsequently route them to liquidity providers. Tod Van Name, Bloomberg’s Global Head of FX Electronic Trading, stated that: “Expanding Bloomberg’s electronic trading solution FXGO to offer a new algo analytics framework allows us to give the FX community real-time access to the banks view of liquidity and order execution. This brings new levels of market transparency and trading efficiency to our clients.”
